GP Glycogen Synthetic Brake Fluid DOT 3 & 4

is a high-quality synthetic brake fluid formulated with a precise blend of polyalkylene glycol ethers and borated polyalkylene glycol ethers, enhanced with performance additives to deliver outstanding thermal stability and protection. It meets or exceeds the performance standards of FMVSS 116 DOT 4, SAE J1704, and is backward compatible with DOT 3 applications.

With a dry boiling point of 470°F, this brake fluid offers excellent resistance to vapor lock, even under demanding braking conditions. It is engineered for use in disc, drum, ABS brake systems,
and hydraulic clutch systems across a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial trucks, and performance vehicles.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Preserves rubber seals, helping prevent leaks and extend component life
  • Excellent corrosion and rust protection, even in humid or wet environments
  • Outstanding lubricity for reduced wear and smooth brake operation
  • Guards against vapor lock and minimizes moisture absorption
  • Mixes with all DOT 3 and DOT 4 glycol-based brake fluids
  • Safe for all brake system rubber components, including EPDM seals
  • Exceeds FMVSS and SAE standards for superior performance and reliability

 Recommended Applications

  • Passenger cars and light-duty trucks
  • Heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles
  • Hydraulic brake and clutch systems requiring DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid
  • Disc, drum, and ABS braking systems
  • Vehicles operating under normal to high-performance driving conditions

 Specifications & Approvals:

This product meets or exceeds the following industry standards:

  • FMVSS 116 DOT 3
  • FMVSS 116 DOT 4
  • SAE J1704
  • ISO 4925:2005 Class 3
  • ISO 4925:2005 Class 4

Usage & Maintenance Guidelines:

  •  Use only from a sealed, unopened container to avoid moisture contamination.
  • Seal the container immediately after use – brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture rapidly.
  • Never reuse drained brake fluid.
  • Avoid contact with painted surfaces – clean any spills immediately without rubbing.
  • Replace brake fluid every 2 years or 40,000 km (24,000 miles), or as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Always refer to the Owner’s Manual for specific service instructions.
